A GREEN STRIPE FOR THE IRANIAN PEOPLE!! SPREAD THE VOICE!!!
This group wants to condemn the violence and the hard repression of the Iranian government against a sovereign people that defends its need for democracy.
Thousands of people peacefully marching for the democracy have been attacked from the army with extreme violence and treated as beasts. There has been an unknown amount of dead and injured people, whose only fault was to peacefully demonstrate against a regime which wants to dominate them and deny the fundamental human rights. Among them, women, students, were barbarously killed, as Neda, whose death’s video has been seen form everyone on internet.
Other decades, or maybe more, had the same destiny as her, but all the images and the clips were censored and the journalists were forbidden to document these cruel aggressions.
Let’s say STOP to this awful repression whit two signs:
1 – LET’S WEAR A GREEN STRIPE OR A GREEN SQUARE SCARF, AS TO BE VISIBLE TO EVERYONE. It’s a silent way to get close to all the Iranian people who are victims of this violence.
2 – WE WILL ORGANIZE A HUGE DEMONSTRATION IN FRONT OF THE IRANIAN EMBASSY IN ROME AND IN THE OTHER CITIES. We will surround all the office to shout against them all our pain against these awful actions and to show all our solidarity.
We will start today to wear this small symbol of freedom and closeness to them and when we will grow in number, we will plan our demonstration: hard in principles, but peaceful in the acts.
